If I'm working with a mold often times I'll opt to exaggerate the seams or imperfections instead of repairing or eliminating them.  In some cases, as with "Prescription", the seam becomes integral. I've inserted a poem by E.E. Cummings into the sutures that surround this "wound".

There's a row of sutures on each side of the sculpture. One side I have chosen to leave empty. If you were to purchase this piece you'd be able to insert your own "Prescription" into the sutures on this other side!
